The Gratitude Challenge

Personal branding: Never miss an opportunity
to show appreciation

Today people are busy! Everyone is always in a hurry to get to somewhere, and we’re always focused on our work and the things we need to do. As we go through our daily lives, we come in touch with a lot of people, but do we really even notice them? In our busy lives, do we take the time to thank the people that we should be grateful for?

Most of us would probably answer that question with a “no”.

The advent of modern technology with social networking sites, smartphones, and so on, has really changed the way people connect and interact with each other. Everyone wants things fast and quick. No one seems to want to slow down anymore. No one has the time to stop, take a deep breath, and thank someone who does something nice. Maybe you don’t take the time because you are in such a hurry that you didn’t notice or maybe because you’re so intent on looking ahead.

An attitude of gratitude

Why not take a little time to be grateful and thank the people who have done things for you? The Gratitude Challenge that has been developed by SendOutCards.com allows you to do just that! Basically, it challenges you to express your gratitude to at least one person a day for 30 days by sending them a real, customized, greeting card from SendOutCards.com. The people you send it to will receive an actual card that they can hold in their hands and read. This isn’t just an email or private message that you can forget once you hit the word “send.”

You can send this gratitude card to anyone in the world, anyone you want to say “thank you” to. Think of the people around you, the people who have helped you get to where you are now. Ask yourself who you are thankful for.

Has it been a while since you thanked your mom and your dad? Your grandparents? Your siblings? Your aunts and uncles? Your friend who lives across the world? Your neighbor down the street? The barista who always smiles at you when she gives you your coffee? The cashier who greets you whenever you buy at the local grocery store?

Or maybe you want to thank the soldiers who have gone to war, the police who patrol the streets, or the president. Honestly, there are so many people who we should be grateful for. And don’t forget how much this person will appreciate you for taking the time to thank them!

Think of how you would feel if someone would send you a card and thank you for something you’ve done. Wouldn’t you feel wonderful? Wouldn’t you like to make someone feel that way, one person a day for 30 days?

So why not try the Gratitude Challenge by SendOutCards.com today? You only have to spend about $1 per day to make someone feel extra special. All you need to do is commit to sending one card a day to someone whom you are thankful for. And do you know what? If this challenge doesn’t have an effect on you or the people you send the cards to, you can actually ask for your money back! I doubt you’ll be asking for your money back, however, because there is truly something about thanking someone that has a profound effect on people!

So stop. Take some time off your busy life and send out a thank you card to someone you’re grateful for. Take the 30-day Gratitude Challenge and see the changes in your life and the lives of people who you have encountered and touched you.

*Disclaimer: I am a SendOutCards distributor because I think the product and spreading gratitude rocks!
